The WaterLoop exists of a floating ring made of mycelium that grows on the sawdust waste stream of the HHNK. Plants grow on the island, fertilized by soil that includes the rotten wood from the HHNK. The island has at least one open space (inner ring) to the water surface in which purifying water plants grow.
